Commercial survey fee calculator
The fee calculator will give you an estimate of the fees charged for survey tasks carried out by Transport Safety Victoria (TSV), which cover:
- new vessel applications: includes plan approval, inspection and issue of certificate fees
- plan approval: includes application and plan examination fees only
- renewal of existing vessel: includes application, inspection and issue of certificate fees
- alteration to existing vessel's classification: includes application, inspection and issue of certificate fees. An additional hourly rate of $75.30 plus GST may be charged for the assessment of any plans or design material.
Instructions
- Enter the vessels measured length in metres
- Select the first class from the classification drop down menu that applies to your vessel
- Select the fee type that you require
- Click on the calculate button
- To calculate another fee, click on the reset button and repeat from steps 1 to 4
The fee calculated on this webpage is approximate; it may vary from the actual invoice you will be issued once TSV processes your application.GST where applicable is included in the calculated fee.
